Servcorp to participate in Back2Business in Qatar

Servcorp, leading provider of serviced and virtual offices is proud to be co-sponsoring Back2Business 2013, an immense business networking event initiated in 2004. B2B is a platform where representatives of companies that support furthering business with Qatar can exchange ideas and connect with the public in a lively and conducive business setting. Topics of interest focus on Qatar as a player in the global market, whether on a local, regional or international scale and it is an excellent occasion for companies to enlarge their contact base.

B2B this year will be held on Wednesday 2nd October 2013 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, with over 700 invitees from the Qatari business community. In order to make the experience engaging, there will be top minds and active members of the various industries, but little touches like informative promotional videos and welcome packets that match guests with their business sector of interest. This event is supported by many groups, including the Qatar British Business Forum (QBBF), Australia and New Zealand Business in Qatar (ANZBIQ) and the Spanish Business Council (SBC) and the proceedings revolve around the key economic and commercial issues in Qatar.

Qatar is a country which ranks 40th out of 185 for "Ease of Doing Business” according to The World Bank and had a national GDP growth of 6.2% for the first quarter of 2013. According to Trade Arabia, small and medium enterprises in Qatar will create over 2,000 positions and grow at an average of 40% by this time next year. Servcorp is a keen participant of B2B precisely because it has always looked to the future, and is focused on using its profound technological and business expertise to encourage business and economic development in Qatar.

Laudy Lahdo, Servcorp's Middle East General Manager commented “Qatar's growth over the past several years continues as its economy ranks 2nd between the Middle East and North African countries. With a forecasted GDP growth of 6% for 2014 and unemployment at 0.4%, it has positioned itself as an attractive market for many businesses. As pioneers in the serviced and virtual office industry and a corporation committed to the concepts of success and giving back to the community we've chosen to support Back2Business Qatar because we see the value it provides to local businesses.”
