Coworking is the future of business and Servcorp Qatar has reopened the doors to its refurbished 21st floor of the Burj Doha after the opening event on the 29th of April.

The event was attended by Dr. Axel Wabenhorst, the Australian Ambassador to Qatar. Mr. Raed Al-Emadi, Chief Commercial Officer at the Qatar Financial Center, and Mrs. Aysha Al Romaihi, Business Development Manager at Qatar Business Incubation Center were also present. Mr. Hilal Ali Al Kuwari and Sheikh Ahmad Faleh Al Thani, who are the Senior Incubation Advisor, and Incubation Advisor respectively in the Qatar Development Bank also made an appearance.

Servcorp now has 3 coworking locations in Doha, 160+ across the globe and over 50,000 members of its global commercial community.

Burj Doha, or Doha Tower, has been home to Servcorp’s third Coworking space in Qatar for five years. Designed by Jean Nouvel and the recipient of the title of the Best Tall Building in the Middle East and North Africa region, Burj Doha is strategically located on Corniche road in the dynamic business district of West Bay. Taking a non-traditional route, the fully-furnished Coworking space will provide workplace solutions for companies looking to establish a branch office, entrepreneurs looking for flexible work spaces to host their teams, and local businesses looking to cut their operational budget.

All Qatar’s locations are located in the West Bay business hub. Their Tornado Tower space on level 22 and Commercial Bank Plaza location on Levels 14 and 15 in total, run over 80% occupied and the clients grow their business by trading within the Servcorp commercial community across the region.

Servcorp has been a dedicated service provider in the Qatari market for more than 10 years now, from working with several international, governmental, and semi-governmental enterprises such as Education Above All, Qatar National Broadband Network (QNBN), and Tarsheed, to startups and small and medium enterprises like Qatar Living, and many more. With the opening of their second and largest coworking space in Burj Doha, they continue to provide valuable service for businesses in the country.

Fabienne Hajjar, Senior Manager at Servcorp, believes that their office in Burj Doha provides the highest level of convenience for business owners while still being economic. She said:

“As an industry leader, Servcorp's reputation is built on our 40-year commitment to staying ahead of key market trends and our genuine understanding of the needs of entrepreneurs. One of the most powerful trends that we're now seeing is the shift towards Coworking. For example, it’s predicted that in cities like London, by 2025, up to 30% of all workspace will be dedicated to Coworking. Here in Doha, we're seeing a great growth in Coworking spaces, but it's important for businesses to ensure that environments of this kind provide the services they are looking for. The essence of Servcorp’s Coworking space in Burj Doha is that it does not only offers businesses all the advantages of a Coworking environment, but you also enjoy secure super-speed Wi-Fi, a professional secretarial team, and unrivalled infrastructure and IT support. "

In line with Qatar’s National Vision 2030 to be a self-sufficient society supported by a sustainable economy, Servcorp has joined hands with leading business support providers in the country, namely Qatar Business Incubation Centre (QBIC), Bedaya Center for Entrepreneurship and Career Development, Qatar Development Bank (QDB), Qatar Free Zone (QFZ), Qatar Financial Center (QFC) and the Qatar University Alumni Association to provide innovative working solutions and attractive packages to meet the needs of their clients. Through these partnerships, Servcorp aims to support and promote the growing business community in the country.

Raed Al Emadi, Chief Commercial Officer, QFC Authority said: “As Qatar’s onshore business and financial center, the QFC is well aware of the importance of supporting burgeoning businesses, and close to 670 companies are already benefiting from the QFC’s world-class commercial, legal and regulatory environment. We are therefore delighted to be cooperating with Servcorp, a company that is making valuable contributions to Qatar’s growth as an international hub for business and entrepreneurship.”

According to Mrs. Hajjar, “Servcorp is an ideal workspace provider for every scale of business - from start-up to multinational - and we encourage the nation's entrepreneurs to visit us and discover this exciting new Coworking space for themselves."

The look and feel of business may have changed but the basic rule of business applies. You need a receptionist to answer your calls, a dedicated team to delegate to, IT solutions that work and a community to work with.

Servcorp not only provides affordable access to the best locations in the best cities around the world, but also premium facilities, multimillion-dollar technology and dedicated professionals crucial to making your business successful.

Servcorp is currently focused on growing its Coworking solutions, with new designs and fit-outs for workspaces supported by unique IT solutions. Listed on the Australian Securities Exchange since 1999 (ASX:SRV), Servcorp continues to provide entrepreneurs and larger corporates access to the resources of a big business at a fraction of the cost.
